Diesel and LPG Standby Generators
Generators are used within larger UPS installations to provide a source of AC power to supplement an existing battery set when the mains fails. Fuel tanks run from eight to twenty-four hours and Critical Power Supplies installations team can provide a full installation including bunded tanks, onsite fuel storage, connection to a central BMS panel and 24-7 remote monitoring as well as ongoing maintenance and support.
Critical Power Supplies generators can be used as a standalone prime power solution or as part of a power continuity plan in standby configuration. Single and three phase generators are available with parallel N+1 configuration to support UPS installations up to 6MVA capacity.
Generator sizing is a fundamental aspect to consider when used within a UPS installation and must take into account UPS manufacturer’s recommendation for sizing, actual load and future expansion. If you would like more information on Generator Sizing click here
If you would like to know the diameter of exhaust pipe for SDMO generator sets and their respective housing number please click here
Standby power generator specification will also take into account governor sizing, fuel type, fuel storage, the need for weatherproof and acoustic enclosures (to meet local and onsite requirements) and automatic changeover panel design and configuration.
Critical Power Supplies only works with the ‘best in class’ generator manufacturers and suppliers who meet our supply chain standards for quality, health and safety, and environmental ECO management.
Critical Power Supplies provides a wide range of closed and open generator sets, please contact us if you would like additional information on our wide range of generators.
