We are specialists in power protection and build long term relationships through the technologies we supply and the quality of the services we provide. We are always available 24-7 to provide technical support and consultancy for many of the UPS brands available.
Uninterruptible Power Supplies must be properly installed and commissioned in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s guidelines and recommendations in order to ensure a trouble-free working life. Generally standard UPS up to 3kVA with ‘plug and play’ connections will simply plug into a local mains power supply. Above 3kVA UPS tend to be hardwired and require a suitable qualified electrical engineer or electrical contractor to install and provide certification. A certified commissioning engineer is also a prerequisite for a larger UPS installation and may a requirement of associated warranty terms.
Working with Critical Power Supplies means that you can rest assured our engineers are manufacturer certified, trained to undertake manufacturer’s commissioning procedures, follow their method statements and issued a commissioning certificate to register your system for warranty.

Maintenance plans are highly recommended for UPS systems from 5kVA. No matter what the installation, your UPS must be ready to perform at all times, and this can only be truly guaranteed over the full working life of your UPS if it is regularly maintained. Of prime importance is the battery set. This must be in good working order but other consumables also need regular inspection such as fans and over their working life, the DC capacitors within the power circuits. UPS logs also require inspection, to review recorded incidents and alarms, and predict potential future problems.
Through our certified engineers we offer a range of maintenance plans, with full 24-7 technical support and remote monitoring. Our specialist service centre uses the latest UPS monitoring software and maintenance management systems to guarantee that we are always ready to respond to a site incidence, provide support and ensure your UPS system is regularly maintained – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
