As the leading independent supplier of Power Solutions including UPS, Generators, Batteries, PDU’s, Accessories and renewable solutions, our corporate policy is to always offer the best deals to our customers. However, we recognise the importance of social responsibility, whether that is within the environment, in the local community, or simply the impact of technology on our lives.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility breakdown into the following areas:
As a company that delivers the latest in technology, we are proud to bring you the very best. However, we believe that technology is beneficial to everyone. There are still many organisations using technology which is over 15years old, this not only causes potential uptime risk, increases maintenance costs but also results in high energy usage, with some older technologies only being 60% efficient this represents a significant waste of energy, unnecessary green house emissions and implications for health and safety.
We already have a number of processes in place to ensure Critical Power Supplies Ltd is environmentally friendly. We also offer a selection of services to our customers from free recycling to reporting procedures for over-packaging, as well as ‘green’ technology products on our site in addition to removing all packaging on Delivery and Position orders for 100% recovery of packaging Materials.
Supply chain turns Green
Here at Critical Power Supplies Ltd we take environmental policies very seriously.
We have an on-site Quality and Compliance team which oversees all the policies we put in place. Critical Power Supplies is committed to the greening of the supply chain. This means we are looking at the environmental impact we have as a business throughout the whole end-to-end process. Wherever possible we aim to reduce our impact on the environment through implementing measures above and beyond our legal obligations.
Recycling throughout our sites.
The Critical Power Supplies warehouse was designed to accommodate green activity. All waste cardboard is collected and made ready for collection by Biffa our contracted waste recycler. We also recycle all types of plastic including polystyrene. This waste is then sent to recycling companies to be recycled. None of the waste generated on site is sent to landfill.
There are a variety of ways that Critical Power Supplies works with its customers to reduce the negative environmental impact caused by using the very greenest technologies available. These include recycling and offering ’high efficiency products for your site helping you to use less power. We also encourage all customers to return their end of products through a trade in for maximum recycling in a convenient process. Helping you to deliver on your green commitments.
