Providing a range of integrated solutions to drive sales and measurable ROI for some of the world’s biggest brands, CPM UK designed their new telephony system to ensure power quality issues including power loss, sags and surges could not affect their mission critical platform which supports a range of international key clients.
CPM UK appointed Critical Power Supplies to install a centralised UPS for new agent telephony platform including long autonomy three phase UPS solution, generator changeover panel, 10-year design life batteries, electrical installation and maintenance contracts (including a 3 hour response to site in the event of mains failure). As part of the design, Critical Power Supplies created a new room so that the UPS could be located within the warehouse whilst ensuring it was securely protected so only fully trained staff could manage the UPS installation and generator changeover panel. In addition, Critical Power Supplies provided a ServersCheck remote monitoring solution so that the in-house IT Team and Critical Power Supplies could monitor the UPS environment and server temperature 24×7, responding to each potential alert as agreed in the maintenance contract. Each UPS could be, serviced and maintained without any need to take down the load. The comprehensive PowerShield UPS management was also supplied and installed as part of the project.
With project management provided as a standard part of the project, the installation was delivered on time and within budget. Uptime has now been improved to over 99.99%.
