Free Battery and UPS Recycling

Published by Jason Koffler on 30 January 2014

By bringing and recycling your used batteries and UPS Solutions to our Thame Depot, we can provide you with a free of charge closed loop recycling process. Upon receipt of your recycling you will receive a waste transfer notice which must be kept for a minimum three years and we will also keep an electronic copy just in case you require it.

Batteries are made from important resources and chemicals, including lead, and of course also depending on their type cadmium, zinc, lithium and mercury. If batteries are disposed of as normal waste, they could be taken to a landfill site and even not recycled. Recycling via our service team at Critical Power Supplies is just one way we can all help the environment and reduce our environmental impact.

UPS end of life product management and maximizing recovery of precious materials is just one to help not just our environment but recycling actions should also feature as part of an organizations ISO14001 plan. All recycling items taken to our Thame depot will go onto to be taken apart shortly after arriving and used to make new batteries or metalwork or something else within a very short space of time.

For every battery and or UPS we recycle we donate £10 to our chosen charity Cancer Relief UK.
