Keeping Safe and Operating During The Second Lockdown

At Critical Power Supplies, we are the UK’s number one power and cooling infrastructure solutions provider. Our number one aim is safety and it is even more critical now with Covid-19 and the rising infections nationwide. We have implemented some new procedures and extended others to ensure we can keep everyone involved safe.

Critical Power Supplies Ltd, are a critical infrastructure installer and supplier based in Thame, Oxfordshire. We specialise in the power and cooling infrastructure of commercial buildings, including but not limited to: Offices, Supermarkets, Hospitals, Industrial spaces the military and more. The equipment that we install and maintain is required to backup power infrastructure ensuring the uptime of critical equipment.

Since the beginning of the lockdown we have been operating and maintain all of our customers sites and have been giving the service that they require safely. We have been using the UK government guidance and following strict procedures to ensure the safety of everyone involved including:

  • Conducting Risks Assessments.
  • Creating COVID-19 safe work areas.
  • Observing 2m distance working practices.
  • Taking temperature readings of visitors and staff.
  • Creating bubble work groups.
  • Enforcing isolation away from the factories when staff show symptoms of COVID-19.
  • Providing staff and visitors with face masks, anti-bacterial hand gel.
  • Limiting visitors to reduced attendance to our factories and then only with a pre-booked appointment.

Due to the nature of our work and the work bubbles we have created our offices remain open and our staff are given permission to attend work or work from home if required/requested.

We have had no reported cases of COVID-19.

Covid-19 Risk Assessment

Ever since the start of this pandemic we have been producing Covid-19 risk assessments to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved. We have been continually improving and updating this risk assessment to match government guidelines and improving safety.

The Latest Lockdown 2.0

With the government announcement on the 31st of October 2020 the United Kingdom will be going in to a national lockdown again.
