  • Description

A full-featured network management card, the CyberPower RMCARD205 remotely manages, monitors, and controls select CyberPower OL Series, and all OR and PR Series UPS systems and ATS PDUs via a standard web browser, command line interface (CLI), or network management system (NMS) connection. Especially suited to enterprise installations where the administrator might not be onsite, the RMCARD205 provides scheduling for UPS shutdown, startup, and rebooting, along with event action settings, event logging, and automatic event notification sent via Email, SMS, SNMP Traps, or Syslog. Our PowerPanel® Business Edition Client auto-shutdown software protects servers and workstations from data loss due to power failure. The MD5 security management safeguards the integrity of the network.

An optional environmental sensor (ENVIROSENSOR) can be added to RMCARD205 to monitor the ambient temperature and humidity of a server room, IT closet, or other critical environment. Administrators define temperature parameters in Fahrenheit or Celsius; rising temperatures will prompt the RMCARD305 to send a predefined notification. The RMCARD205 comes with a three-year warranty.

    h2. RMCARD/Environmental Sensor Compatibility

Ensures coordination of information between the CyberPower Environmental Sensor (ENVIROSENSOR) and the RMCARD205.

Offsite Scheduling of UPS and ATS PDU Operation

    Automatic Event Notification
Provides immediate updates about power events via Email, SMS, SNMP Traps, or Syslog server.

    Event Logging
Traces the UPS and ATS PDU operational history, tracking events and input/output status records.

    Event Action Settings
Allow administrators to customize options for Event Actions

Detect system overloads, loose defective components and damaged switchgear. Infrared electrical testing finds hot, dangerous problems quickly. Infrared electrical inspections find hot spots caused by defects in connections and components.

Infrared thermography is used to find areas of excess heat (caused by increased resistance) so that problems can be corrected before a component fails, causing damage to the component, creating safety hazards and productivity loss. Because increased heating is a sign of failure, infrared is the best diagnostic tool available for finding these hot connections in the early stages of degeneration.
