You can save up to an additional 15% on your bills on “smart” time-of-use tariffs by storing electricity during low-cost periods and discharging it back to the grid at peak times all while being automatic and totally optional.

The option for Powervault 3 comes in 5 different sizes 4, 8, 12, 16, 20kWh and uses high-performance Lithium-polymer (Li-MNC) cells. These cells offer you a long-life with a 10-year warranty.

Powervault Batteries

Powervault batteries are a fantastic and sustainable way to power devices around the home and save on energy bills. There are options to have an eco version of Powervault 3 installed into your home also. This option uses recycled lithium-manganese-oxide (LMO) cells from electric vehicles which are low-cost and come with a 3-year warranty. This option is available in capacities 3.9, 5.9 and 7.9kWh.

”How much does Powervault cost?”

The cost of a Powervault energy storage system will depend on the capacity of the system you have selected. The company offers batteries with a 4, 8, 12, 16 or 20kWh capacity. These range in price: with the lower end costing around £4,700 whilst the higher capacity models can cost up to £14,000. They also supply an Eco range which has a lower energy capacity and is considerably cheaper.

A powervault system sits in the middle of your home’s devices and your property’s solar panels. Energy generated by solar panels is stored in a Powervault system. This can then be distributed and accessed to power devices around the home.
